BIOGRAPHY

Siqueira began studying composition with Willy Corrêa de Oliveira from 1996 until 2002. He has been awarded in importante composition competitions in Brazil, and received three important Brazilian music grants (Funarte, Vitae, and Rio- Arte). He also won important awards in original tracks for Theater and Film. He regularly participates in the Biennial of Brazilian Contemporary Music, the New Music Festival (SP), among other invitations, such as the Brazil-Colombia Symposium (Medellin 2004), Ceren Necipoglu Ya da Arp in Diger Adi (Turkey 2010), among others. Osesp and the National Symphony Orchestra have premiered some of his works. His music has been recently played by important brazilian and foreign musicians in concerts, festivals and simposiums in Brazil, Europe and the US.
